In math our class was assigned to design a high rise complex of apartments to attract buyers. We were put in groups of 4 and all individually had to sketch an apartment floor plan design that met all of the requirements. Then we presented our floorpans to our group members. After, each member presented we were to choose the most creative/neatest design and use it for our project. The 21st century skill this project represented was interpersonal skills. I think this because we all successfully worked in groups with respect and positivity. I am most proud of how our apartment complex turned out. We were able to design it how we wanted and price it reasonably. I improved this skill because I usually try to work alone rather than in groups but by working in a group I learned how to incorporate everyone's ideas together. I can apply this to the future by being creative and having a good eye for things that can be used in certain jobs.
